TAGB congratulates all participants, runners and winners of Tennis Tournament- 2017. Also, TAGB conveys its sincere thanks to all participants, volunteers, sponsors and Sports committee members who worked very hard in making this tournament a memorable event and grand success.
Held on 29 July 2017, this event was attended by about 60+ local sports enthusiasts and brought their best game to showcase their love for the sport.
Current Executive and Sports Committee members of TAGB warmly welcomed players, their families and spectators and wished them the best for the tournament. TAGB provided healthy snacks, fruits, energy drinks, pizzas (lunch), and hot coffee on the day for those in attendance to keep up their strength and to continue playing their best.
The tournament began at Woburn Racquet Club, Woburn, MA 01801 promptly at 8:00 AM and continued uninterruptedly until 3:30 PM. Matches were held for Men (Singles and Doubles), Mixed Doubles, and Youth (Primary, Middle school and High School) categories. Players participated and contested in all categories resulting in very entertaining games which were thoroughly enjoyed by the spectators.
Irrespective of wins or losses, all players displayed extraordinary sportsmanship and finally Tennis sport emerged as the overall winner of the day. Many players left the arena already looking forward to the next year's tournament and thanking the organization for the efforts in conducting the tournament.
The event ended on a high note with prize distribution in the presence of TAGB’s BOT, Executive committee and Sports Committee Leads and members.
