TAGB Invitation to Charity Activities

సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలతో పాటు సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను కూడా మన తెలుగు సంఘం చేపట్టితే బాగుంటుందన్న పలువురి సూచనల మేరకు TAGB మొదటి సారిగా ఒక సేవా బృందాన్ని  ఏర్పాటు చేయటం జరిగింది. ఇక ముందు మన సేవా బృందం సభ్యులతో కలిసి అనేక సేవా కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహిస్తుంది. మీరందరూ మన సేవ కార్యక్రమాలలో ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొన్నండి.

We continue to include charity activities in future TAGB events. As a kick off, we are planning a food drive during the upcoming Ugadi event. We will subsequently donating items to the following food pantries.

1. We Care Charity Food pantry - Salem, NH

2. Franklin food pantry - Franklin, MA

Following items are accepted by TAGB Charity committee:

Canned Items:

Peas, Carrots, Green beans, Fruits, Soups, Pasta Sauce, Mac/cheese, Sugar, Elbow Macaroni, Penne Pasta, Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce (Any kind)

Other Items:

Chewy granola bars, Fruit cups, Rice bags, Individual water bottles, Individual Juice boxes (Caprice, apple or any juice), Brownie mix, Cake mix, Cereal (Adult) Cereal (Child), Ground coffee, Tea, Cookies, Crackers, Jelly, Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Instant and regular Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Salad Dressings, Individually wrapped paper towels, Individually wrapped toilet paper, sugar, Any size diapers, Feminine Hygiene products, Shampoo, Soap, Tissues, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Laundry Detergent, Dish Detergent.

More charity activities are planned in the year to follow. Stay tuned for volunteering and donating opportunities for adults and youth.
