"SankrantiSambaralu – 2014" - A Community celebration

Come join TAGB to celebrate the spirit of the harvest season! On Saturday, January 18, 2014, we invite you to attend “SankrantiSambaraalu2014”at Littleton High School, (56 King St. Littleton, MA). We guarantee you an experience of variety of cultural programs. The day is sure to end with a magnificent feast and heartfelt satisfaction. There is no better way to kick off the New Year!

The Cultural Committee is inviting members of our community to display their talent at this wonderful event. We request to send in your entries by December 20, 2013. In order to ensure diverse and multitalented cultural programs, the Committee will review all entries and will notify if your performance has been selected by December 22, 2013.

Entries only for the following categories are invited:

• Programs with themes pertaining to Patriotism and Sankranti festivities.
• Dances: Folk/Classical/Fusion/Film.
• Special Items: Burrakatha/ Harikatha/ Mono-action/ Mimicry/ Comedy shows.

In lieu of short cultural segment due to external artists’ performances, skits,vocal, and solo performance categories are closed for this event.

Guidelines for Cultural Participation:

• Group participation and adult participation will get highest priority.
• Time Slot: no more than 6 min.
• Song(s), costumes, dance steps and overall performance should be appropriate for family entertainment.
• To avoid monotony we discourage the repetition of song/item in the event. So please provide the song(s) and item description to cultural committee at the earliest.
• Cultural committee solely reserves the right to confirm an entry.
• Team lead is responsible to pay participation fees (online only) for all the team members.
