First Amendment:

Extending the term of current BoT Members

Original:

7.04: TERM OF A BoT MEMBER

A. Every BoT member, other than the immediate past president, is elected for a 2-year term.

B. The Immediate Past President shall serve in the BoT for only one EC term, per Section 8.04 of these Bylaws.

C. No BoT member can serve a third consecutive term.

D. There shall be a gap of at least one year after two consecutive terms

7.04: TERM OF A BoT MEMBER

A. Every BoT member, other than the immediate past president, is elected for a 2-year term.

B. The Immediate Past President shall serve in the BoT for only one EC Term, per Section 8.04 of these Bylaws.

C. No BoT member can serve a third consecutive term.

D. There shall be a gap of at least one year after two consective terms.

E. Whereas the COVID-19 pandemic serverly impacted the work of the BoT in 2020:

a. 7.04(A) shall not apply to those members of the BoT who served in 2020. Instead, each member’s term shall be extended by one year beyond the date at which it was scheduled to end, after which the aforementioned section will once again apply.

b. 7.04(B) shall not apply to that Immediate Past President who served as an ex-officio member of the BoT in 2020. Instead, his term shall be extended by one year beyond when it was scheduled to end, after which the aforementioned section will once again apply.

Second Amendment:

Extending the term of the current EC

Original:

8.04: TERM OF AN EC MEMBER

A. An EC member is elected for a 1-year term.

B. No EC member can serve two consecutive terms in the same position.
