TAGB Thyagaraja Aradhana - 2020
The format of the Aradhana will be as follows:
1. Group singing of Sri Ganapati Krithi
2. Group singing of Thyagaraja Pancharathna Kruthis
3. Group singing of selected Divyanaama / Utsava Saampradaya
Sankeertanalu
4. Group singing of MangaLam
RULES:
1. Any adult who had formal learning of Pancharathna kritis can participate in the group singing of the Pancharathna kritis. But they will have to attend 6 sessions of group practice for greater synchronization of singing with the group
2. Any student between the ages of 10 and 18 who has learnt all the Pancharathna kritis formally from any teacher can participate in the group singing of Pancharathna kritis. The teacher will have to send an email attesting that the student has learnt them formally. They must attend the last 4 sessions of group practice for greater synchronization of singing with the group
3. Anyone above 18 years who has some exposure to classical music but has not learnt the Pancharathna kritis may participate in the group singing by attending all the Pancharathna kritis classes to be conducted by Smt.Valli Amaravadi. Also, any advanced Carnatic music student from the age of 10 also eligible to join the classes.
4. Anyone who has passion for singing but had NO formal training but wishes to participate in the event may do so by attending the Divyanaama / Utsava Saampradaya Sankeertanalu classes to be conducted by Smt. Valli Amaravadi.
5. Classes for Pancharathna Krithis, Ganapati krithi, MangaLam & selected Divyanaama / Utsava Saampradaya Sankeertanalu will be conducted twice a week - Wednesday and Saturday starting middle of October until the Tyagaraja Aradhana day in January 2020
